i have to be honest. being with children’s ministry this weekend was really refreshing. i think it is always healthy to step out of your typical routine once in a while to gain a renewed perspective on what you do. it also really made me appreciate how hard those in children’s ministry work..hats off to you. children are not easy to handle in large numbers, but they do it so well. what was great to see was the innocence, openness, and honesty of a child. i think it would do me well to demonstrate those qualities more. anyway, it was a great experience being in there this weekend. though children are growing on me, i still don’t like animals.
p.s. despite the advice of amy and alex, i did not teach the children any new dance moves. maybe another time.

well amy, i used to not think that i liked children, the same way that i don’t like animals. the children might be growing on me but the animals are not…i still dislike them.
